projects.

Our work is built around three focus areas: education, empowerment and health. We deliver it through two projects: Jumpstart, our quarterly mentorship programme, and Freedom's Future, our annual Independence Day celebration.

three focus areas.

Each focus area runs through both of our projects.

  • Students sitting at wooden desks writing in notebooks in a small classroom.

    Education

We promote civic education and academic excellence, and introduce children to digital skills and STEM subjects from an early age.

  • Children in purple shirts and red berets gathered around a woman showing them how to weave a fishing basket.

    Empowerment

We help children build self-awareness and work on their personal development, and we promote both soft and hard skills they can use at school, at home and later in life.

  • A girl bending over a pile of shoes during an outdoor game while children and adults watch from a sandy yard.

    Health

We look after children's physical well-being and mental health, teach good personal hygiene and talk openly about addiction prevention.

Jumpstart runs every quarter. Freedom's Future takes place every year on July 26.

Freedom's Future

Our annual Independence Day celebration for children

Freedom's Future is our Independence Day celebration. It brings together children from orphanages and local churches in underserved communities. Through mentorship sessions, educational and entertainment activities, we keep children in a safe space while teaching them the true value of Liberia's independence.

We also reach out to deliver food, mattresses, school bags, books and stationery directly to orphanages in need.
